The first step towards restoring the tradition.

On the second of July, the third league round took place in Nové Město nad Metují, which also brought para-athletic competition to the mentioned place after several long years.

The competition was held in a peaceful atmosphere, which was disturbed only by a gust of rain. The subsequent sunny weather, however, allowed the athletes to show the form with which they arrived in Nové Město and many athletes reached or completely surpassed their previous bests, in one case even the Czech record was broken!

The best performers were the representatives of the club Athletics Without Barriers Pardubice, who took away a total of six gold medals! The organizing club SK NMNM won three gold medals at this tournament.

The tournament was attended by one foreign athlete - Máté Szomszéd (HUN), who took 3rd place in the discus throw.

A pleasant surprise of the event was the performance of David Skotnica, who closed the whole competition day by breaking the Czech record in the shot put category F46, with a performance of 12.25m!
